New grower from CA

Seeing a "mustard yellow" color around the middle/vein area of my first leaves---leaves look ok other than that. Possibly a nutrient deficiency? I have used coffee grounds
in my soil prep---maybe too much acid?

Please dont quote me but I heard it may be an iron deficiency. Not sure at all.

I have a yellow color on my leaves too It's only my second year growing but I think maybe burnt it with seaweed my plant has been in the ground 21 days and I have used 670ml of seaweed and about 100ml of fish is this to much?

Thank you, I have also heard maybe an iron deficiency, and
said to remedy with "chelated iron"---don't know what that is, but will check it out.
I have not used any seaweed yet, only some kelp meal
in the planting hole, so that's likely not my issue.
Maybe some other responses will come in!

To much Nitrogen..To Much Water..Cold Soil temp preventing Nitrogen Uptake. Maganese deficiency? (Espom Salts) The coffee grounds I am told are nuetral.

Need more information than provided. Some genetics throw this also. 801.5 Stelts throws Yellow leaf stems and main vine.

982 A little bit, but much more mustard yellow coloring--almost a bright mustard color right at the veins---middle of the leaf

Seed was a 1441 Harp---been in the ground about 2 weeks

This could be caused by cold soil; certain nutrients are unavailable when the soil is cold.
This sounds like a Magnesium deficiency, we talk about getting soil tests and trying to reach a balance.
Too much Potassium can affect the uptake of Magnesium (as well as Calcium and Nitrogen), and cause deficiencies.
Magnesium Deficiency is displayed as yellowing of the leaves between the veins with the veins remaining green...
A lot of growers are experiencing Yellow mottled areas; this can be a Manganese deficiency.
Without images it is hard to really tell.

Sounds like yellow leaves are hitting lots of folks besides me. Found this pic on Wilbur's diary http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=157527
spitting image of one of my plants a few days ago. Still growing though and what lookes like a female blossom forming (only four feet out so not going to keep it) Is this just a mineral deficiency or some thing more serious?
