This is a picture of the problem leaf.

The plant seems to be very healthy, however, this one leaf has some kind of a problem.

I have no idea what it is, but just in case its something serious, I don't want it to start to spread.

Hopefully it is just sunburn, but I need some expert opinions.

this particular leaf started out its life during a very hot week. It began to flag in the heat. about a few days later it grew bigger and stopped flagging. once it perked up I noticed the light green discoloration towards the center of the leaf. The leaf is still getting bigger but that light green area remains. I have no idea what it is, and all opinions from the HH`s would be welcome. Please check out the pictures:

I'm not a heavy hitter, but I am heavy and have been growing for a few years. I see this often during real hot spells. I'm getting some of it now. To me it looks just like heat stress. Nothing that you can do about it now and they should be OK. It might help to mist the plants when it gets real hot, and make sure that they have adequate soil moisture. My son is supposed to be giving our plants a quick shower 3 times today while I'm at work.

If its only sun damage then I`m not worried.

I just want to make sure that is not something else. I am trying to be as proactive as possible this year. I want to know what I have before its to late to do anything about it. Sorry Phil, but last year my whole plant went down and it all started with one leaf.

I have MANY, and I mean MANY leaves that look like the 3rd picture.

I think it is a combination of sun, and in my case Excess Nitrogen.

Just my 4 cents.

Thanks everyone. So far that is the only leaf that is screwed up. The rest of the plant looks great. I agree, it must have gotten sun burn.
