I noticed this morning there are some brown spots on the top of my new pumpkin that has been growing for the last 3 weeks. The brown spots are not raised and appear to be under the skin. Is my pumpking season already done?

I noticed these brown spots on the top of the pumpkin a few days after I sprayed the pumpkin with daconil.

If the spots are accompanied by the pumpkin not growing then it aborted.
