I scratched the top, one inch, of soil with my action hoe. And I agree that its just to much moisture. Between the unbelievably high humidity here on Long Island, plus the ever present morning due, plus the drip lines, its no wonder that I now have algae/moss. I will just have to keep scratching it off and hopefully it will be beneficial to the soil.

I sure hope you're applying fungicides and other treatments to prevent root problems, powdery mildew, etc.

I have been using Eagle since day one. I think its time to start the Daconol into the rotation.
