Hi all,
My plant has a problem, leaves have strange color light green/ dark green. Exactly like that : http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=141542
After a lot of researches, I think it could be fusarium and/or Rhizoctonia. Manganese and magnesium level are ok in the soil test. No insect at all. Any idea ? any solution ? I know if it's fusarium, the plant need to be pulled out... I noticed also there are many different fusarium. Thank you And grow'em big !

I had a plant do the same thing to me last year, I did not pull it out, and it never produced any fruit for me. I did not have any tests done, but I remember seeing Ron's Diary my plant looked just like his.

That is most likely a picture of yellow vine disease. I do not think it is in Europe though.

Thank you for your help guys. I checked the link and found exactly the disease. Young leaves were yellowish and then adult leaves are a mix between light green and dark green like fusarium symptoms. So the good news is " no fusarium" , so not pulling the plant. The name of the disease is BPYV for Beet Pseudo Yellows Virus. White flies are the vector. I don't have any insects on leaves and I clean all my tools. Plant is in a greenhouse as said in the link of Croley Bend. Now, I m sur of the identification that s already a good thing. Is there a cure to save the plant ? Thanks again !

Mehdi, I cant really make a diagnosis, I just hope its not a virus. Many things can cause the leaf to look like that, you may want to look for nutrient deficencys also. If you havent seen any whiteflies, then you probably have something else. Good Luck. Keep on asking everyone you know.
