kurty,do the AG plants get the yellow vine disease from the squash bugs? My AG plants certainly got something from squash (stink) bugs!!! Started 3, none left... (1.5 plants dessimated by storms) The other 1.5 plants were dun...after major infestation of squash (stink) bugs!!! Also approx 12 zucchini plants went down the same day!!! I was thinkin some type of bacterial wilt? Is this the same thing? Disease carried by squash bugs? Peace, Wayne

Yellow Vine Disease (YVD) is a bacteria transmitted by Squash (Stink) bugs as the vector. Plants will get a yellow color to them that spreads down the vine. Also, pumpkin growth will slow and eventually stop. This is becoming a more commonly seen disease in giant pumpkin plants.
