Whats the best thing to do for vines that seem to be soft. I'n not sure if its rotting or not.

How is your soil drainage? If it is too wet it could cause problems. I had root rot problems until I dug some drainage ditches and raised the patches up to drain out the excess. That is something to look at after this season. For now maybe a good fungicide would help.

Vines may become a little softer in the heat of the day. 100 degrees seems to do this...Is being soft your only concern or is there a color change as well?

Jason I have color changes as well. I cleaned the ares around the stem with bleach and alowed then to dry. The outer edges look like dry corn stalks although the stem seems more firmer. I swear the heat and humidity have really hurt a lot of growers.
