noticed my first small couple blotches forming on a few leaves. i have been spraying preventatively but it always shows sooner or later and there are curative measures. the best i found is stylet oil used at 1 to 2 0z per gallon in a backpack pump sprayer and set on high jet stream. you pump to full pressure and blast the small blotches on the leaves when first noticed. you will see the white fuzz disattach from the leaves and all that is left is some discolorization of the leaf. if a patch is more established on one leaf, you spray and rub the leaf with the end of the spray wand and sort of scrub it off while direct spraying. small blotches can be treated as they show without losing the whole leaf. the key is haveing access for inspection and spraying to everyleaf. skinny walking boards left under the leaf canopy between every 3 secondaries all the way to the main do the trick nicely for access. blast the small spots then switch to a mist and hit the bottom of all surrounding leaves and the tops. once it shows, maintenance inspections and stylet oil can be used to control and keep as much of leaf tissue healthy even on infected leaves. and continued spraying of quintec or other products will help suppress more outbreaks. not much you can do with this pea soup humidity except to keep a close eye from hear on out and know it is an enemy that you can maintain. left untreated, it wipes everything out fast.
