Dear Grumpy, Try 2tbs of home defence insecticide,
2tbs of bt, both from homedepot.mix together
in 1 gal sprayer, spray top of leaves, and
bottoms, the whole plant and it should work
really nice for you, it did for me 3yrs
straight for me!

Me too Grump. I have nuked the pacth 3 times with Bayer T\S at 4 ounces per gallon. I pulled another 3/4 inch grub out of a secondary yesterday. That seems to work for some people, but I am going to come up with a plan B for next year.

Drake, is that recipe a spot spray or does it work as a systemic?

BT....Bacillus Thuringiensis...a naturally occurring bacteria..ie.- organic insecticide.

Grumpy!! Check Jr's Pockets the next time you come to my patch to visit. I think he is sneaking the little buggers into my patch!! LOL. I just extracted 3 out of a five foot section of 1 secondary and a couple of others. Keep the dang things over at your place..
