I thought I read that outer leaf edges drying and curling is a potassium deficiency.

But , The veins look to be a lighter color than normal , so I am not sure.
Did you look at Matt D's, plant diseases and problems with the pics ? it is on the site somewhere.

I have the same thing going on on some of my main vine leaves. Seconadaries are in better shape. I attribute some of it to age and heat.

do the leaves wilt alot? then toast and die leaving the leaf stalk looking perfectly normal? Seemingly overnight?

Difficult for me to pin point the exact problem, initially it looked like potassium deficiency but seeing some leaves with more advanced symptoms has me thinking possible Alternaeria and/or Verticilium wilt.
Also looking at the pictures it looks like some fungicide has been applied (binder residue looks to be on some of the leaves) so I would ask what has been applied.
The growing site seems to be mulched heavily so if the roots are limited you could have limited K uptake.
In short there could be more than one thing going on, but some potassium fertilizer and a systemic fungicide would be good places to start.
