Just went out and checked my plant, the female I pollinated on friday has a split in the bloom you can see inside,should I cut it off or just wait and see if it will still grow???? :-(

If the split you speak of is in the fruit itself its done for...cut it off and keep going with more pollinations....if its in the flower part,dont do anything til it gets a mushy flower then put off the mushy part and let the pumpkin grow. When the pumpkin passes 1000lbs you might consider picking it...but thats up to you !...........G

the blossom with the split does not seem to be messing with the fruit, so when it reaches 1000# I might see if it will get any biger LOL Thanks Guy's
