has any one used bindweed mite to kill bindweed or morning glory? and is it true it will not harm kins or outher veg. thanks

I recently read something on these mites. NIC (natural insect control) is a company up here, that sell insects as a control, for pest insects.They have a web site,I read bindweed mites are slow to move around,and should be mowed after they are established, to spread them around. Terry
