my leafs are getting beat looking,looks like severe hail damage,I have never had this problem before,30 or 40 sparrows fly in and land on the leafs,I dont know what the big attraction is but i gotta get rid of them.Any "cheap ideas"?i cant get row cover this year.next year i will invest in a roll across screen,but for now.HELP.John

Must be some tasty bugs hanging out in your patch ? I found 5'x25' foot row cover at local Agway for about $9.00. Local Co-op had it on a spool for whatever length you wanted also at 5' width. Check it out, if you can't find it, get in touch. Duff

I know it attracts the cats. I have one back again this year. I tried feeding him. He hangs around the outside patio now and stays away from my patch

How about a bird netting cover like they use on berry plants.
