Steve, I have Benlate(wettable powder) 50% Benomyl Methyl;
50% inert ingredients. At what rate per gallon should this be mixed. I also have ECHO 90DF(contact fungicide) Chlorothalonil 90%; other ingredients 10%. At what rate per gallon should this be mixed. Any help would be appreciated. Kenny

Got tyhe email Ken & it's cool. But it's buried with all the work & spam stuff too so this will be quicker.

Echo 90 is a more concentrated form of chlorothalanil than Daconil as we all normally use it. If properly calibrated, your plants shouldn't notice the difference.

The nominal rates for all cucmbers is 1.25 - 2.5 Lbs per acre.
Or more sensibly for us: .5 oz per 1000 sq ft light or closer to 1 oz per 1000 for the heavy rate.

Because Echo is off patent it recieves a fair amount of criticism from some Syngenta (maker/marketer of Daconil & Ridomil) for several well publicized cases of burned greens & tees on golf courses. I have also seen the same thing on Creeping Bentgrass, Red Fescue, & Poa Anua on greens with the original Daconil when heavy rates are used.

I mention this only as informational & do not feel you need to be concerned about it. I offer it up in case someone else decides to & burns a hole in the brain. LOL

Benomyl is no longer registered so far as I know. Benlate, Tersan 1991, Benomyl DG, etc are all the same thing & all the same strength. I have an older C & P Press Blue Bookm upstairs & will check it out in a little while.
