Early this week, Penn State vegetable specialists confirmed late blight in a commercial tomato field in Blair County, Pa., and on tomatoes and potatoes on a commercial farm in Franklin County, Pa. These are the first confirmed 2012 reports of late blight in Pennsylvania. Other cases on potato fields have yet to be confirmed, reports Vegetable Specialist Beth Gugino

Duff, Daconil, fungo-nil, bravo, companion, actinovate, all will help to control, there is no cure, nor can you eradicate it. The key is preventive maintenance, once you get it, the plants are done.
