Is anyone aware of any potential issues with aborts as a result of spraying fungicides / pesticides on or around the day of pollination?

There shouldn't be a problem, Depending on what you are using, the blososom (fruit) can be scarred or discolored by the spray so try to keep whatever pesticide you are using off the fruit itself.
