Does any one have a good way to get rid of cut worms. They are destroying my veggie garden. Thanks

linus,
My cucumber and squash plants are very small (just planted seeds a couple weeks ago) and some of them are cut off at ground levelas a cut worm usually does.

cut soda bottles into collars place around base of plant, remove when plants are thick enough not to be affected by cutworms

lightly dust the surface with sevin dust.If you have them real bad come out a 11 to midnight with a flashlight. You can pick them up they will be crawling in the dust. Its kinda like night crawlers only you dont need rain to bring them out at night.
