In my secondary patch I have what seems like a potential candidate for the Yellow Vine Disease on a particular plant. I have 3 plants in the patch, which all get the same watering schedule, fertilizers, Pesticides etc. One of them is not doing well at all. It has been very hot and dry lately and symptoms show as if they're lacking of water and nutrients, however like I said the other two are look rather happy, fruit set, etc. Below is a link to photos. Any thoughts, past experiences with this problem? Thanks in advance and wish everyone a great season!
Below is a photo of the 3 plants, showing the extreme yellowing of the far plant, hit next photo in my diary to see a close-up of the yellowing plant

Brandon that far plant is history. Its so far gone that I cant be sure its yvd but most likely it is.I see some yellowing of the leaves in the plant on the right also.If the fruit on that plant stops growing the watch out.Check out jason from conneticuts diary from last year.He has some good pictures of what the leaves look like. Its a yellow or bronze colour that shows up in mature leaves.Youll see it running down the main or secondarys vines.A group of leaves will show that odd colour along a given vine.

Joe, Thanks for the information. I took a look at the link, It looks pretty close to me. The Yellowing on my plant began at the growth tip on the main. Very chlorotic and rapidly went down towards the stump and down the secondaries. That plant on the right, I'm afraid its showing slight yellowing, Just didn't want to say it so soon.... You are right about that one plant, It's not likely going to do much at this point. Thanks again.

Looking at the growing area in general I would say there is generally stressful condition on the patch. Yes, remove the sick plant, but even the others look like they are struggling for something. Do you have a soil test?
Initially to me it looks like rooting could be improved which would help with general nutrient and water absorption. Looks like you have at least one pumpkin, so best of luck this year.

This patch has always been a challenge in the past as it is far from home. I have sprinklers set 3x weekly, and I visit between those days to water, feed and everything else. The planting hole was amended well, however the patch as a whole the soil isn't great, just okay. This patch is more of an experiment and a feature on campus at my school. My main patch is onsite at my job and gets a lot more attention.
