Noticed I had holes in my leaves but no signs of any pests. None.

A couple days later I noticed a couple small birds (the male was yellow) eating the leaves. They sit right in the middle and poke holes. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Happen to me to. they put a lot of holes, but I think I did more damage trying to stop them. In the end the birds just moved on. I still get some damage here and there.
What I learned is leaved with holes still work just fine, and there are a lot more leaves then holes.
I stopped worrying about holes <]:)
