I truly believe that full sun is one of the top 5 to a big pumpkin.

Ok here is what ya do just wait for them to go on vacation and then cut them down, and when they come back tell them that some lightning hit one of there trees and the rest caught on fire and it almost burnt your house down but you had there back and got everything squared away...... sorry no good Ideas just bad ones, lol

(are yo going to the Montague weight off ?)

Is that seven hrs now(fall)? or seven hrs in the summer time?Im getting 8 hrs right now,but with all the cloudy weather it's more like 4 or 5 hrs.In the summer I get at least 10-11hrs on the Kin Cave.I'm thinking of offering the neighbors 500$ if I can cut down a couple trees to the west of my patch.First I will just ask, then if they say no I will offer the cash.lol Funny I was just standing out there yesterday telling a friend this,as the caves went into the shade at 5:30.The melon cave was shade at 5:00.I placed them with the sun in mind last spring. The 1161 is getting the most sun of all my stuff.I also placed the melon cave so it would wind block the kin cave. Its shorter so the sun factor did not matter.

Yes I'm going to bring them but I don't have any machinery at my disposal but the guy who runs it stopped by and said that he really wants to see them there so I'll bring them and see what happens......I hope my big one hits the 880lbs that it's estimated at but for my first year I'm happy no matter what (heck I just hope I can find a way to get there weight(I'm going to buy my own scale next year))

I guess I'll see ya there
