I have one of my patches covered with nettle;I sprayed it with some special type of roundup and it died; It got about 2 inches tall and it all died; I rototilled it and hear it pops up again? Whats it take to rid of this stuff ????????????

Keep at it, your persistence will pay off. If any comes up again, let it get to a decent size and spray again with glyphosate . (you definitely will want it to be a systemic herbicide not a contact one) THe bigger the plant the more herbicide it can absorb into the root system. The hardest to kill plant species are easiest to kill when you spray them before they go dormant but still growing. ( around here that means Late August-September} If you don't have a dormant period. It may take repeat applications. Another option might be to smother it out with a sheet of black plastic. Left on it for several months. ( See Matt D's diary)
