I'm going to hedge on the conservative side & say no with our current technology. But this is one area I would love to dabble in. Since I plant to keep a clone over the winter, & clones have no stump, I want to try to simulate the early cotyledon effect on the bitter end of the vine. If it works then who knows? Maybe it is possible?

im thinking as it/they grow/s,,,symbyotic like,,,
with zoomies and super food and light,,,,
and silk pillows for the giants,,,lol
and carbon dioxide smudge pots.
vinegar and baking soda=co2.it works.
careful it displaces oxygen, you gan drown in it!!!
or your kid or dog!
havent tried it this year yet.
did it with a big max long ago.
the air was still and moist..you could see the cloud rolling under the leaves.
the leaves responded buy opening back up.
it was soooooooo cool! the corn seemed too respond also..
i did this in small amounts around the plant at the same time.remember your neighbor!!!it is serious stuff.
works in greenhouse also!

How did you generate the co2? This would be very nice in the controlled environment of the greenhouse. I never much considered doing it in open ground. Details?

There has to be a cleaner & cheaper way to generate co2. Maybe just buy it bottled from the old propane gas boys. Tomorrows another day.
