Well it is hard to explain. I looked for a good picture but could not find one. Only way I can explain it is if you took 6 vines and fused them together like a ribbon cable on a printer. It tries to continue to grow but ends up in a huge mess and dissapointment. I have fixed double vines, but simply just pull a ribbon vine or try training a secondary if it is not affected. Normally it is a whole plant thing

What causes that? I have seen it on some other varieties of pumpkins, and even some flowers of non cucurbit related plants?
