Ok i have always used the tree& shrub ,,But i herd other people use 3&1 ,,but which one ? There is insect,disease& mite control,but it is only spray i think ? Then there is rose& flower care ,that is a soil drench ,,, Anyone use any of these products ?? Which one ? Or oneS ? Thank you for any reply's

I used the fruit, citrus and vegetable formula last year and it worked fine so will do so again this year. We don't have some of the nastier pests here though....(no SVB's for instance and I haven't seen a cuke beetle either)

The rose and flower one contains a systemic fungicide..which is a plus..Otherwise they are pretty much the same one is just diluted more..I don't like to pay for water

To be honest i am not sure, I should be more accurate but im not, I would guess 1 oz sprayed over approx 6 x 6 foot area around stump , watered in very well ! It says to wet the ground first also !

Imidachloprid is the ingredient in both the tree and shrub as well as the vegetable and citrus.

The difference is that the tree and shrub is 1.47% imidachloprid while the vegetable is only .235% which is only 16% as much.

I used Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub right as the pumpkin season started in 2011. To be honest it worked great - saved me from spending a lot of time spraying stuff on the plants during the season. I found a dead bee on one of the leaves but didn't think much of it. Since then I read a lot of bad press on neonicotinoids such as Imidacloprid contributing to honey bee colony collapse disorder and directly killing bees. I'm not using it this year even though it would save a lot of labor from successive sprayings of other treatments. I have a feeling some day in the future this stuff won't be available anymore. But for now I just don't want to risk contributing to the demise of bees. Most of our agricultural industry and a big part of our food chain depends on them as pollinators. I'm not so worried about killing one bee, but I don't know how many thousands are visiting my plants and taking chemicals with them, so I'm going back to organic methods again this year.

I have a question about its application. Does it only need to be drenched around the stump, or does it need applied all along the main and secondaries?
