Killed first one today. If I got them there is a very good chance everyone else does too. Make sure to use your Merit every 10 days for the next month and a half!

One said hello to me today by trying to fly into my mouth. Unfortunately, rain comes and goes every 10-15 minutes, making it difficult to spray.

Time to build larger hoophouses!!!

Killed two that were sunbathing on my plants this morning. I saw the first one June 20th last year so they are right on schedule despite the very cool spring we had.

Jason, Merit 75WP = 75% Imidacloprid. For soil drench I would use ~ 1 teaspoon/ 350 sq feet and maybe a gallon of water and that gets you about 70 days systemic protection. For repeated foliar apps maybe 1/2 teaspoon per gallon every week for the whole patch.
