First saw it on Main about 10 days ago 8 feet from stump. It was a 6 inch length. Vine was soft and started to shrivel. Tried to treat it with bleach and Captan to no avail. Had to cut the main and the front of the plant. Two pollinations at that point had already aborted. Treated the cut with the same stuff. Difficult to keep it dry with all the rain. Trying to train side vines as new main. One of those rotted and was cut off today. The other is looking ok and pollinated a flower this past Monday.
Now seeing rot on first two secondaries out of the stump in several places. Both were cut and removed.
Any ideas what this is? Too much rain? Any hope for the plant?

beautiful plant reduced to about 1/4 its size, would not set a female until I chopped out the rotted section.
Check the WHOLE main, got a dx of fusarium or rinoctonia.
Way too much rain here is june, got inside and spread.
Cut out ALL damaged sections, I then sprayed heavy with tko, companion, microtech actinovate and saturated all split vines and the main with infuse.

jeff, my issue looks similar to yours. Just had another secondary get it yesterday. It was no where near where the main had it. Cut it off past two good leaves and treated. No sign of SVBs or other insects. Trying upload pix. Thanks for feedback.

Looks like more than just rot, could be some type of wilt as well

NOw I've got it on another plant in a different patch. Trying to save the main on this one. Clean w/ Bleach, paint w/ daconil, sprinkle Captan.
