I got to get rid of the squash bugs but all the sprays I have also will kill the bees. Anyone have any suggestions that will work to kill the squash bugs but spare the bees? I got my regular pumpkins near by that need those bees to do some work.

Do not let any flowers go to bloom naturally. Keeper females are tied shut the evening before opening. Males are cut and taken inside or tied shut in the patch. All other flowers are cut off. There should never be a flower open in your patch, unless your pollinating it.

Spray late in the evening...a lot of commercial pumpkin patches have hives and spray

A last resort: large row covers. Bees go for the flowers, not the leaves and vines the pests chomp on. No flowers=no bees.

Thanks for your thoughts. I wasn't positive about evening spraying thanks for confirming.

I would say use contact spray products and do applications in the evening. This will be your best bet at maximizing the contact with the target pest.
