I have a couple pumpkin plants showing the dreaded Yellow vine, will the disease transfer to the seeds?

I'm not sure but if you get YVD you will never have a fruit make it to maturity anyway. sorry

There are some cases where bacterial diseases can be transmitted via the seeds. This tends to get more attention with commercial watermelon growers, but for our crop you can consider them similar.

My guess is your pumpkin will stop growing (no matter the size or age) if you have yellow vine decline and the odds of good viable seeds will be reduced most likely due to lack of maturity, but if it was me I would not give the seeds out from a plant infected with YVD. If you do, I would want to do test germination and also warn those that I do send seeds to that the plant was YVD infected so they can make an informed and accurate choice.
You are not alone with the YVD, I have had a few pictures come to me via e-mail that I diagnosed as YVD. Best be in my opinion is to simply get rid of the plant from the patch.
