http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=208562 This is a pic of the hole in The Fridge. Its dry to the touch but I'm a little concerned about the color and spotting in the area. I currently treat with 3% peroxide, 10% bleach, sulfur and fan. What are my options? What would you do? 24 days to keep it alive.

gently probe it with a broom straw to verify the hole doesn't go into the seed cavity. Is it still growing-if yes that's a good sighn.

If it's dry, keep it dry and don't fuss with it.

Try not to laugh sparcmat, but this worked last year on a field pumpkin I was particulary fond of: I stuck a cork in the hole after I pared the cork down to fit, then sealed it with sulfer.....It went through to harvest time. if it's been growing right along hopefully it will keep doing so!!
