I have quite a few stem end splits near an inch long and maybe 1/8 to a 1/4" deep, none of them enter the cavity. Around some of the splits, the surrounding skin is brownish and discolored, but dry. Is this still rot? Been stressed to the max over it, any help would be great. Thanks all.

3 of mine, 2 of them on one plant, one on another did this. I brushed them with sulfur when they appeared just in case, but it never amounted to anything. The brown went away like Jason said.
