Unfortunately, this was my best growing pumpkin last year. I was having some browning on the outer edges of a few leaves in sporadic locations of the plant in mid to late July. When the oozing started, it slowed way down in gains, really fast, then stopped totally after about a week.
So what do you all think caused this ?
I lost 4 out of 5 to some kind of rot. The pumpkins just slowed down to a crawl, then started to rot. Even my field kins did this after they were mature. And all pumpkins were kept dry underneath. I am leaning toward a soil disease.
