it's a little more than a plastic bucket and it is reusable year after year (with new lures and vapor tape)
The top has a basket that holds the pheromone lure. The bottom holds an insecticide vapor tape. When the svb hovers over the hole at the lure, vapor comes up through the hole and asphyxiates him, he then falls to his death into the bucket.

The vapor tapes are just a smaller version of a NO PEST STRIP
I also bought my traps at great lakes
