Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

Always have sprayed tips of plants...over the years I've used all kinds of different fungicides and pesticides with no ill effect...as long as the mix ratio is correct of course.

If you mean squash bug yes I spray every thing my self included lol. I would rather see funny looking burn leaves with pumpkins growing, then a yellow vine ugly dead plant. squash bugs are the worst. I've picked vinebore from vines and still gotten pumpkins cucumber beetles i can spray and kill easy, squash bugs are tough i've soaked them in sevens the recommended mixture and they just crawl out and shake the liquid off their back. And fly away so I can't catch them. Haaha haa

i spray the tips as well, but more with a quick light mist as opposed to a heavier application on the vines and mature leaves, i find that the cucumber beetles prefer the new tender vegetation, i mean who would blame them?
