Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

So, anyone want to take a crack at this? it's got me stumped, and the county extension agent has thrown in the towel too.
Back story:
1546 Shenoha. Every single kin on this plant grows at the speed of light. It sets babies with no trouble, be it sweltering hot, or cold, rain, shine, you name it. There are zero vine issues such as rotting vines, foaming stump, or any other detectable problem. Leaves show no disease or virus symptoms at all. At around DAP15 each kin begins this 'bleeding' issue. One kin is bleeding clear goo. The one pictured bleeds clear and yellow goo. The soil is kept very dry, I had this one covered till about a week ago, so it can't be an excess water issue. They will bleed like this for about a week, then the surface of the kin begins to turn brown. The first kin made it to 388 pounds however it's stem was the first thing to begin leaking and bleeding, later on the area of pumpkin around the stem began doing what you see here. Fans were kept in place constantly, it is under shade protection. Obviously will not make it, but can someone tell me what is going on here?

(had this one covered till about a week ago, so it can't be an excess water issue. ) being covered could cause rot been there done it got t shirt etc might take a few yrs to loose them like most of us have./. then let air/sun on stem I use 27% peroxide a fan and sulfer dust at first sign of stuff like this

If the pumpkin is still growing- then its the skin cracking and oozing from growth. I had one do that where I had a sheet and insulation laying on the fruit. That one was ugly but it healed up. Also it quit oozing so bad when I changed the cover design. It seemed to ooze bad because it was too wet for the ooze to clot where the cover layed on it.

I meant the plant was under a "roof" of sorts. Thekin has been kept covered with a tarp leanto arrangement, not touching kin, just above it to keep rain sun off kin, just like we keep all our kins, nothing different than what you see in any diary that shiws a little 'house' over kin. This has been happening all along, even when plant was under cover and not exposed to rain.
The kin continues to grow rapidly, very rapidly...i have seen growth crack ooze before...this is a yellow ooze, kind of looks like if you blended a kin in a blender to make a smoothie...
Xtension took dirt samples pics today which he is forwarding, if they cant get it from picture and dirt he has agreed to do a tissue test to try and see whats going on.

lets try to explain again
rain isn't cause
let me give you a what I did
covered 10 plants 1 yr whole season blue tarp over stem never got wet whole season=9 pumpkins rotted off and disconnected from vine. 1 tarp blew down actualy broke fence post in storm. I never put it back. that pumpkin healed and made it to weighoff

hot plus humid seems to increase problem

air plus sun helps

Ok, gotchya. Not trying to be obtuse, or dense, I swear. :} God knows I have hot and huid...always.
With it already rotting, at least surface, (just finished scraping surface rot and applying captan straight) do you think I should leave it open when no chance of rain? Or just open all the time Don? Currently, its 'cover', amounts to two saw horses with a big board over the top.

Had something similar a few years ago. Had it covered with a tarp, seems water splashed on soil, splashed on fruit, hurt fruit...ooze from lots of places. Let it have some sun.

I lost my fruit, I kept on cleaning the spot until I reached the inside of the fruit.

Good Luck.

I have another 5 days of rain coming guys, any opinions on what to do with this kin? Seems to have dried after the application of captan and leaving it open to the sun all day....I'd love to know what fungus is causing this.
