Anyone have any experience with Sevin liquid spray and temperature? If it is too warm, can Sevin burn the leafs? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Never spray in the hot sun. Try to do your spraying in the cool of the evening.

I avoid the sun at all costs, but many days temps don't drop out of the 90s till after midnight, so I just wait till completely shaded and spray then. I don't use liquid Sevin though

So is it the sun that is most damaging? Lately, even at dusk it is still in the upper 70's. Also, is there something better for the plants I could be spraying?

I wish the temps were 70's....it's 80+ in the mornings here. Spray at dusk, NEVER when the sun is on them, no matter what your spraying, it's just a good rule of thumb.

never spray a plant that is heat stressed (flagging) or if the sun is shining on it. The droplets magnify the suns rays like little magnifying glasses and burn the leaves.
We spray after the sun has set.
