I am almost certain it is a rodent of some sort. There is another pumpkin with more clear upper and lower teeth marks on it. Still not on my main ones. I have not needed to deal with a varmit yet in 8 years here at this house/ patch but this thing will meet its end if I can't deter it with cat fur and pee.

Ive seen growers use a laundry basket over their fruit. Just cut slits for the vine to run thru. Good Luck.

Thats a strange one Jim! Do you have a game camera? Cover your contenders good and put a cull out there for bait to see if you can get a pic.
