The 1320.5 Lombardi has a dripping stump, this started in the last 24 hours and its on the underside of the stump but I can barely see it.
Feels firm to touch doesnt stink its pretty steady, drip one thousand drip two thousand drip three thousand.I think Ron Wallace talked about a dripping stump, called it a dripper not a foamer .I havent added organic matter to this plot since the spring of 2014, I have a dozen or so uncut secondaries, we had 2.6 inches of rain in 24 hours that ended 2 days ago.
What should I do I am about ready to throw in the towel

I recommend making a simple stump cover. You can simply vertically stake in 4 pieces of wood in a square and cut a large square section of 6 mill plastic or use reclaimed acrylic. For the plastic or acrylic, simply secure with screws. The stump needs to be kept dry and all secondaries and leaves need to be removed near the stump. You should check out MuddyWaters diary because this is where I learned how to do this important step. Thanks Mark!!!
