Many growers use pesticides that have various strengths of imidaclorpid. Merit is the household name but there are many different products that contain various levels. Bayer fruit and vegetable contains less than 1% (I tried this for a couple years; it doesn't kill anything). Bayer tree and shrub - same ingredient and 7.9% of the active ingredient Merit - Same ingredient and 21% of the active ingredient - several generic substitutes can be had for less $$ Mana- this crap is really strong- 40% of the good stuff. Also Bifen is a good companion product - aka Warrior
