This is a new one for me. I came back from vacation to find some discoloration in the leaves at the centre of my greenhouse.

I've never had this before. I have two plants 30 yards away outside the greenhouse that are in great shape. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

If those plants are growing back to back Allen..It looks like spent leaves to me. I leave mine on unless they fall over..then I cut em off (because they might start a rot spot) Its been warm enough here so inside tunnel temps have been high!

It looks like aged leaves to me too. I wouldn't be to concerned. I am not sure why the leaves inside the greenhouse are affected but not the outside plants. Things to think about would be. Have the temps gotten to high in the house to prematurely stress the leaves, have you used anything different on the inside plants? A different pesticide or fertilizer. Or did you put the same stuff on both, but inside the greeenhouse the temp went up to 100 the same day you applied the stuff.

Thanks. They are two plants growing back to back. It has been a considerably warmer season than normal. The only difference between the inside and outside plants is the covering. The doors have been wide open all summer, I can't vent them any more. Oh well, thanks for the ideas.

Here's a closeup view of the offending plants. They withered pretty good last year, but it was late September and I didn't care much at that point.

I took the leaves in the picture to the local garden centre. It turns out it is spider mites. Boy, those guys are tiny. I guess I have a job this evening

You would do the same thing to the pumpkin leaves as they do to the "really tall grass" in the video ;-)
