http://bigpumpkins.com/DiaryImages/2007/Lrg/70362.jpg This is a picture from my 2007 diary. Have had this happen to many of my plants through the years. Plant and pumpkin growing fine until I notice a section of the leaves turn a bronze color and then to yellow. Pumpkin growth stops and the progression of yellow leaves increases. Plants are then pulled. Any ideas? I'm thinking YVD.

The only sure way to know is to have a tissue test done. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=188407 Have a look at the pictures of the 175 Rahe plant, it tested positive for YVD.

If the pumpkin stops growing at the initial onset I am going to favor Yellow Vine Decline.
