well i managed to get rid of the squash bugs that killed 2 of my plants due to yvd,, lil buggers,n ow this gummy stem blight has kicked the hell out of 2 of my last 3 plants,, been using chlorothilinol, drench,, every 7 days,, ended up pulling 1 plant this morning,, looking like going to have to pull the other tomorrow,, does anyone out there in pumpkinland,, got a better solution to this,, plz email me,, curtlave@hotmail.com.. or make a post on here,, information needed.. thx curt

Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

I use Agri-Fos, and a 25% bleach combo, stops it cold every year. Let me clarify:
Agri-Fos on the plant and stems, bleach solution sprayed on ground under plant. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT spray the leaves, underside or top side with the bleach, it will burn the hell out of them. I lightly spray the ground under the leaf canopy, it hasn't ever affected the vines, and it helps kill all the little plant ending beasties we have here.

Spraying Prestop on leaves and under the canopy prevents GSB. Every year, I have a few leaves dying cos that gummy but this year, nothing yet. I just sprayed 2/3 times.

I have it bad on one of my plants Curt and have for over a month. Yea, hit up obie as he's been dealing with it all year and still getting some pumpkins to put on good numbers.

I've been spraying and drenching TKO and clearys and still getting good numbers on this plant even though it looks like garbage.
