I removed the badly infected leaves. They seem to be moving from the pumpkin back. The pumpkin has pretty much stopped growing. E-mails say injured vine, soil disease that attacks your roots, and downy or powdery mildew. Any other ideas? Can I do anything about it?

What have you sprayed on the leaves and how windy has it been there?

It has been windy and cold (56 high, but this is in my greenhouse. Most watering was overhead with a hose. Mon. calcium nitrate, Wed. compost tea, Fri miracle grow. Same as outside plants and they don't show it, yet.

show us a larger photo. One leaf looks like normal flagging when hot or when the vine is damaged and the other looks like water/nutrients or possible vine damage.

I posted a couple to my diary. I have only lost 6 leaves and looks like 4or5 more. If it was on the outside plants, I wouldn't worry, because I have a lot more leaves and probably 3 weeks to a killing frost. I would like to extend the season longer in the greenhouse plant. If there is something I could do, I'd like to catch it before it gets out of control. Probably just a rookie mistake. I hope.

The vines look fine. The main split after the pumpkin, but doesn't seem to affect the few leaves after it. I've been watering the same as when it was hotter. It's not hot now, they're forecasting 38 for tonight. With a clay based soil it was probably too much. The leaves were always lighter then the ones just outside the greenhouse. Being new, I didn't want to over fertilize. I will try to give it more nitrogen. Thanks for the replies and e-mails, I need all the help I can get.
