I have a major issue with gnats in my yard and patches. I naturally have alot of mosquitoes and gnats but this year it's really bad. What can I use to kill them?

soil gnats like overly wet soil Mosquito Dunks contain BTI, a bacteria toxic only to mosquito larvae but also kills gnats hatching from soil, in containers anyway. Indoors I tried a bifen drench and applied Diatomaceous Earth to the soil surface it worked , or something did they were gone . I forget how to soak dunks in water and apply to the soil should be on the net
