Awhile back I noticed a section of my main vain past the pumpkin was steadily dripping. Scraped, peroxide, sulfur, and fan seems to have dried it up. A few days ago I have the same coming out of the stump right at the ground level. Same treatment and it seems to slowly be getting better. Problem is it smells funny, and the kin is growing at a snails pace. What do you think I've got, and is it treatable or should I pull the plant? I'd hate for my other healthy plant to be infected.

sounds like both ends of the plant are foaming and rotting, if it stinks its rotting. Look at each joint where the secondaries connect to the main for rotting softness or goo coming out, it may be traveling down the main from the stump if it is you need to cut off the main from the stump in a healthy area.
