I have been slowly loosing leaves over the past few weeks. They are rotting at the soil line. Is their one particular disease that causes this , or could this be caused by several possibilities ?

Do all infected leaves look like the one in the pic, or does the infection spread through the leaf stalk from that point on? Well, I have Rhizoctzonia in mind, but if your leaves don´t develop to a stage which looks like in this pic here, then it might be a different disease.

Like pumpking says there's a good chance its rhizoctzonia. It could also be 2 or 3 other diseases we deal with from all the watering we do. Make sure to stay on your fungicide drenches this time of year each week and don't let up.
I have this going on in a couple areas also zappa.

I've been talking to Zappa as I also am experiencing this. I have had between 4" and 5" of rain in the last couple days. Anything fungicide wise So Cal you recommend adding this time of year. First year grower and have one kin left and trying to keep it going as long as possible.

Yes. I did Terrazole and Clearys last weekend. Just wondering if anything else I could be doing??? Things have definitely started looking better last couple of days. After tonight's rain we are supposed to get a nice break from the heat and humidity that seems to have been hanging around all of August. Porkchop you know I'm a nervous wreck!!! :)
