I had it in 2014. It spreads with any water splash from leaf to leaf. I did my spraying in the mornings at that time with my blower and spread the disease by the heavy blowing from my stihl fogger. We had a lot of rain in June and July which made it spread also. When you first see it appear i believe that cutting any infected leaf may help. I have a mess of pics in my 2014 diary if anyone wants to know what it looks like. The give away is water soaked spots on the underside of the leaves.

Thanks Rick and Zappa. I noticed this on one of my plants a little while ago. Never saw this before.

Well Rick, better then what it could of been :) I'm glad I was wrong.
I dealt with xanthamonas from the beginning of the year this year. I sent the leaves to Harry and John at western right away. Harry had me spraying copper sulfate every 6 days since the beginning of June. It did a fantastic job at combating the wilt. The only negative is your leaves will ware out twice as fast from the weekly copper sprays.
Like Zappa stated, as soon as you see the wilt cut the leaf. No overhead watering as it spreads from the droplets of water going from leaf to leaf. My drip tape was key in helping it not spread.
Much better then those other nasty diseases we talked about Rick.

I did find a product called agriphage. It is made by omnilytics. It's a biological that is pathogen specific. So you need to know the species you have.
