Last year I had a bad cucumber Beatle problem I ran out of sevin late in summer and they even chewed on the kin leaving lots of scars I know they can carry diseases, my question is if I grow the seed is there a chance I could be introducing disease to my patch? The pumpkin was very orange and the plant showed no sign of disease other then a small amount of late vine rot

The only way to know for sure is to have seeds tested. It probably wouldnt be from insect chewing on the fruit but from insect biting the plant.

Isn't Sevin a weak insecticide for cuke beetles?

I would bet the seeds are good.
