What is the best systemic pesticide for those nasty vine borers. Last year I had decent success with using a propane fogged, but this year I might double down.

I use imidacloprid systemic, dust the stump and main vine with Eight. If I see an adult vine borer, I spray with the Ortho Max bifenthrin. I haven't had a borer problem in several years. Cucumber beetles were another story last year. I used 7 different insecticides, they would knock them down for a couple days, then they would be back like a green cloud.

Iowegian, I have used copious amounts of home made garlic spray the last couple of years, and it seems to really help w/my cuke beetle problem!!! Peace, Wayne
