I have my first foaming stump, I put a fan on it and cut away some of the leaves to help it dry out. I have sulfur, Captan, and Daconil, should I put 1 or more of these on the stump too?

if you have a wet spot around the stump, chances are its leaking under ground. in my experience it best to cut the stump off or it will continue to rot, shave off small slices until brown discoloration is totally gone add sulfur and a fan and keep dry. if its above ground, some say you can save it by carving out rot and adding sulfur and fan. i tried to save one that started foaming above ground. but in the end, i lost half the plant by doing so. so i cut them off right away to save as much of the plant as possible. i usually have 3 or 4 foaming stumps per year.
