Fungus gnat grubs like moist areas and feed on fungus and decaying plant matter. From what I've read they only get 1/4 inch long. They are almost see through and have a little black spit on there head. I have had them inside my vines before and they will get inside your vines and cause them to rot. If you have them it may be a sign you have pythium or other disease. I found 3 on 1 vine today and I have pythium. I am going to do a merit drench today and hope for the best. Just a heads up to all my fellow growers.
